Word to the Words
If you know me, you know I like to run. I haven’t always liked to run but now it’s as much a part of me as my eye color (green) or my shoe size (which is quite large) or the fact that my favorite color is and always has been green.
You may have picked up on the fact that I also like to write, and more specifically that I love words, in any and all form. I’ve written about that plenty before as well.
I am grateful to be able to combine my love of running and writing in the form of a new blog (Run For Your Life) over at my friend and running coach’s website, where I get the privilege of writing for my running friends and family (which hopefully many of you are!). (If you missed the first post, you can see it here). I am excited about all the upcoming ideas that people submitted on topics they want to hear/read about and am already working on many of them, but today I wanted to write about the importance of words in running. Curious? In the interest of efficiency, I’m writing an essay in response to the final “points challenge” of our recent “Diehards Challenge”. Aren’t you even more curious?
