I’m a 40-something recovering control-freak who is encouraged by encouraging and supporting others following their heart.  For the last decade+ I’ve been defined as an Army Pediatrician, but a recent convergence of events snatched all semblance of control away and I’m finding I’m pretty ok with that. I now spend my time writing, traveling, investing in relationships, experimenting, enjoying being a wife and being a doctor in many different places and spaces. You can find me most mornings sipping (my third cup of) coffee, planning my next run and trying to figure out how to be more like Jesus.  I truly believe that the words we say to ourselves and others have the power to change our lives and I hope my words encourage you in just the way you need, in order to have your cupsrunningover with good stuff so you can share some encouragement with others!
